A retired judicial referee, Hon. Charles B. Stratford spent nearly four decades serving the Division of Judicial Office within the Los Angeles Superior Court. He became an expert in juvenile case litigation, and spent much of his time participating in such matters. He also counseled youths and children on alcohol and drug abuse. He has been given an official commendation for his dedicated service by Los Angeles County, as well as a host of other honors.
Mr. Stratford was given a Certificate of Partnership by The Ronald Regan Presidential Foundation in 2011 and a Congressional Order of Merit by the National Republican Congressional Committee in 2007. Furthermore, he was honored with a Flight 93 National Memorial Award and Men of Achievement Award.
In addition to having served the county of Los Angeles, he was an adjunct faculty member of National University. He taught at this institution from 1985 to 2000. Before this, he instructed students through the Los Angeles Community College District, beginning in 1973.
